What we are looking for

We seek an experienced full-time (35 hours per week) Benefits Advice Caseworker to deliver advice and casework services at a number of outreach venues in Lambeth operated by Norwood and Brixton Foodbank. We may be open to job share for candidate(s) who would prefer part-time. The outreach venues are within short bus-rides from the main office

You will be a people person, able to coordinate your own workload, and comfortable delivering impactful specialist benefits advice in outreach settings. The post is fixed-term for three years, although it may be extended or you may be offered further employment by the Centre in an equivalent role where circumstances permit

About you

You are a driven and enthusiastic benefits adviser with experience of a broad range of advice strategies that can be used to get the best results for clients. You are open to incorporating technology into your working practices to make the best of what you do. You can work with minimal supervision when necessary.
