We promote access to justice by providing good quality legal advice and representation to people who would otherwise be unable to afford legal services

We specialise in advice on Housing / Homelessness, Welfare Benefits and Debt

Need help now? Use One Lambeth Advice to find online information, speak to advisers by web chat, email or telephone and to find out about advice and support services in the area. Brixton Advice Centre accepts referrals from One Lambeth Advice

Please note, we will be running a reduced reception service up until Christmas. Our reception will be open between 10am and 12pm Monday to Thursday only

The last day reception will be open before the Christmas break will Thursday 19th December 2019. We open again after the break on Monday 6th January when we hope our normal (10am – 3pm) hours will resume

We provide advice at outreach venues around Lambeth, including at Brixton Foodbank (Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10am to 1pm) and at local schools

We provide a free legal advice clinic every other Thursday evening (click here to check current dates). Advice is given on a first come first served basis and the clinic is open between 6.30 and 7.30pm

We are part of the Lambeth Advice Network, which receives funding from Lambeth Council. We are also part of Debt Free London – a London-wide consortium providing free debt advice. We hold the Law Society’s Lexcel Excellence in Practice Management Standard
